Imagine if they hadn’t of messed the snare up on St. Anger. Cause a lot of the Anger songs live sound great. I loved the Load album. Not so much Reload even though there are some good ones on that one too. People want to do different things. That goes for creating music too. As your skills and knowledge grow in the guitar you want to incorporate them and try different styles. Like the above comment. Just enjoy the music.

that's actually what i've been associating metal with before i became a fan, even though i'm not sure that i've heard exactly this song.

This album has been in a slow cooker for years getting better and better. Imagine if they put it out in 2023 it would of shook the earth. Unfortunately they put this album out during a period where they were criticized for getting soft. A lot of fans were expecting more, but in reality they gave us exactly what we wanted when we were greedy.
